All families are invited to our Back to School BBQ on August 25th from 4-6pm. Students may drop off their school supplies and meet their new teachers! Bring a dish to share!

Join us at mass on Sunday, June 25th at 10:00am. We will celebrate new Bishop Roy Campbell with a special performance by our choir. After mass, we will host a play date for current and new students and families!

There have been several updates to the website to help us get ready for the 2017-2018 school year, including updated Summer Learning documents, updated calendars, and updates to the HSA site, including our new Executive Committee! Check it out.

During Lent, our students receive a small "rice bowl" to collect small change in throughout the season. All money raised goes to support international and local organizations through Catholic Relief Services! As a family, practice alms giving by giving up a little bit to help another one of our brothers and sisters!

Catholic Schools Week will run from January 29th through February 5th. We will celebrate with an Open House, Parent Appreciation Day, Teacher Appreciation Day, Clergy Appreciation Day, and Student Appreciation Day! Check your email with the newsletter for the most up to date information!

This is a reminder that Sacred Heart School follows Montgomery County Public Schools for all weather related closures.

A letter describing the Christmas Show and the important details was sent home with your child. If you did not receive a copy, please let the office know! We look forward to seeing you all on Dec. 16th at 6:00pm.

Sacred Heart School will host over 100 local, DC area teachers interested in learning more about Project Zero ideas. The meeting will begin at 4:30 with food and drinks, followed by individual breakout sessions at 5:00. Please RSVP to Jim Reese if you are interested in attending!

Thanksgiving Break will begin on Tuesday, November 22nd. Students will return to school on Monday, November 28th

The first day of school will be on Monday, August 29th. There will be no after care the first week.

Bring your used uniforms to school on July 15th for our Used Uniform Sale! Used uniforms will go on sale at 8:30 am in the school parking lot. (Rain location will be in the theater). All pieces are $5 each.

Field Day will be on Friday, May 20th. Cost is $10 per student. We will ride buses to Hains Point and spend the day playing and grilling out! Parents are welcome to join. After all students have been fed, parents will have the option to purchase lunch for $5 a person. Each student should wear their class color: Pk3: Pink Pk4: Yellow K: Purple 1st: Light Blue 2nd: Dark Blue 3rd: Orange 4th: Green 5th: Red 6th: White 7th: Grey 8th: Black

First Communion will be held on Friday, May 13th at 10:15 am. All second graders and their families are invited to a special reception in our Theater after the mass! There will be no school mass on Wednesday, May 11.

Spring Beautification Day will take place on Saturday, April 16th! Parents are welcome to come and help garden, clean, organize, or cook! Hot dogs and drinks will be provided!
